I am sending my deepest sympathy to wife Kathy, son Bobby, mother, sister and brother Dave. I boxed Bob at the Walker Arena in 1969. Bob defeated me and won the Golden Gloves in Grand Rapids. Bob was a powerful puncher and I never boxed anyone that hit harder than Bob. We later worked at the Paper Mill together, where we became good friends. Bob was a good person and will be sadly missed. Sincerely, Jack Crowell, Coach, Muskegon Boxing Club

Kathy and Bobby,
We were surprised and saddened to hear of Bob's death. He was so young but it sounds as though he had quite a battle. It has been too many years since we have seen each other but please know you are in our prayers. Love , Carl and Judy Rosenberg

I want to express my deepest sympathies to Bob's family. While I have not had much contact with Bob in many years, I have some wonderful memories of him when we were younger. He was a caring and joyous person who enjoyed life to the fullest; a true fighter, in every sense of the word.
