Bob was a classmate of mine, and our family have been donating to favorite charities in lieu of buying more "stuff" for Christmas and birthdays. World Vision is one of those charities, and our next donation to them will be in his name. God bless, you old Grey Tag and fellow engineer!

I remember as a Third Classman at the Academy, struggling with calculus. I would visit Bob in the evening and he would try to help me. It seemed so easy for him. I am sad to hear of his passing. I am thankful I got to see him at the 50th. Terry Lumme

As a classmate at USAFA, I was unfortunate to not know Bob, but as I read his obituary, I was moved by it contributions to systems engineering that solved so many complex issues especially the high altitude ejection problem for pilots. As a pilot, it was satisfying to know a '69er had a significant hand for our survivability. Well done Bob, and thank you for your service to the USAF, our country, your family and the Christian community...a good and faithful servant for our Lord. I pray God...
