Not sure what to say?

Peace to you and grace, dear friends, and especially to Cecelia and to the whole extended Walker family and to the many colleagues touched by Bob's life in Campus Ministry circles of faith and service. It was an honor to have Bob as my first Southern Regional Director, and my spiritual mentor for 16 years in Lutheran Student Movement and National Lutheran Campus Ministry, He stood by me in times of trial and always carried himself with principle and shared deeeeep insights into the...

Cecelia and Kathy, my prayers are with you these days. And I say, Thanks be to God for Bob Walker! For over 60 years he has been my Pastor, supervisor, mentor, colleague, and dear friend. His guidance set the trajectory of my life and ministry when he facilitated my internship in Charlottesville, VA. Many memories. Pastor Bob proclaimed the Resurrection; now he claims it.

+Rest eternal grant him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him.+ Bob was a good collegeue who I enjoyed knowing and working with in the Virginia Synod, ELCA. His commitment to campus ministry served this Church and his Lord very well. Condolances to his family and friends

Our sincere condolences to Cecelia and the family. Bob's baptismal promises have been fulfilled. Memories of his Florida ministry and the privilege of serving as Randi's pastor (his mother) are still gifts to treasure. God bless you and surround you with God's Love! The Rev. Dr. Royall and Joyce Yount

Dear Cecelia and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Bob's death. I remember both of you fondly from my days as a student at Carolina 1976 to 1981. Bob was very kind to me when I lived in Atlanta right after graduation. I was young, scared, alone and far from home. He gave a great big hug and told me that I would make it. I did! But that was exactly what I needed right then. May your memories comfort now and your faith sustain you in the days to come. Sincerely, Edith Boland Eubanks
