Dear family of Bob,
As a 1951 Notre Dame classmate of "Walleye", I cherished his friendship along with Bugsy Elliott and Pretty Boy Ferrick. I was just ole "Willy". Each reunion, including the last one in 2011, we read at the Grotto all of the names of our deceased classmates and lit a candle engraved with the name. Today I have requested that Bob's name be read at the Grotto and a special candle lit. He always brought a different perspective to life. I loved him and will remember him...
