My name is M.Menelik, born in Ethiopia now i live in canada. I met Master Robert while n in Ethiopia he was my first instructor. I am sure he does not know but he started the very first Taekwondo school. Around the end almost 200 students. And I am the only one that continued till today. He planted the seed but today it turned into a garden. May he rest in peace. If you need to contact me 416 937 8121.

We met Bob through our dear friend Karen. Bobs robust, athletic, and adventurous life style was beautifully balanced by Karens loving and caring family orientation. For more than twenty years Bob began his day knowing that the deep love expressed in wedding vows was returned with equal fervor.

I served with Bob at the 102nd in Heidelberg Germany. One of my fondest memories is the day we "stood up" for Joe Boscoe at his wedding. In fact, I still have the original typed announcement, which I found between blank pages of an old picture album a couple of years ago, of those relieved of duty to attend the wedding . RIP Bob!

I was blessed with a bigger than life father-in-law. Very few have had as many adventures as he. He embraced life, love and adventure on a daily basis. He loved his family more than anything to include his three grandsons and granddaughter. The stories were plenty and the laughs were endless. A passion for life and all that comes with it will be his lasting legacy (along with the pressure point techniques that his grandsons so faithfully practice on each other). My dear friend will be truly...

I remember the day in 1961 when Bob arrived at the Autobahn Kaserne wearing his paratrooper insignia. My first thoughts: "this is the 102nd ASA Detachment, not an airborne outfit. He's been mis-directed"
