On Sept. 23rd, the Lord took to be with Him our beloved only son Robert Forrest Walters. He passed away at home at only nineteen years of age.

Robbie as we called him was my second son, he grew up with my son Nias. They were joined at the hip there for a minute. All the backyard summers we all spent swimming in a pool I hasd purchased from Walmart just for them. I will miss you so much Robbie.... Patty and John you are in my prayers and if you need anything... You both know my number.

I was Robert's Journalism teacher at Vallejo High. I am just devastated to hear this shocking news. I was very fond of Robert and enjoyed seeing him every day. His curiosity and good-humored wonder at the world was a constant source of joy to all of us on the newspaper. My heart breaks for his wonderful, loving parents.
