Robert Lowell WALTERS

Such a helpful man I had known. I was a newcomer in London, Ontario who was lucky enough to be guided and nurtured by this wonderful man. He surely instilled in me the love of Canada and the love of opera. Thanks and thanks Mr. Walters, you truly molded me.

Growing up in London, Ont., my siblings and I, who attended elementary school with the Collie children, were taught to address Mr. Walters as Dr. Walters. I remember his happily beaming face whenever "the gang" was gathered in the Collie/Walters backyard on Huron Street. My sincerest condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and all those who knew Dr. Walters. "Thank you for your faithful servant, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him."
