I feel lucky to have spent a few hours in the car with him alone many years ago, because he was the first person to make me realize that not all heros get their stories told in the history books. Sometimes they live or work near us, and if we are lucky, they'll let us coax out a glimpse of greatness. Mr. Warnock will be hard to forget.
