Not sure what to say?

I have seldom met men of Bob's caliber. He's the type of guy all guys wish they could be. Smart, fun, and loved by all who met him. I wish I could have gotten to know him better but his loss hits me like someone who I was really close with. That's the kind of impact Bob had. Bob, thanks for your kindness and dedication to Sigma Chi all those years. You are missed greatly and I wish I could have told you this while you were here.

my family moved from New York city to Portland in the summer of 1951...settled on the corner of n.e. 32ave and Thompson..graduated from fernwood, graduated from grant...across
the street lived the short family..dr. short, esther, joe, al, and joan...the short home was like a magnet for joe's friends...there were literally guys there constantly....tom constans, dave day, bugs Johnson, larry ledwith, bob mann, jon Hansen, mike McGinnis, and BOB WARR....al and I were in the street all the...

My parents were very impressed that he created his "Bull Sheet" and really enjoyed all the updates on everyone. Who does something so wonderful, writing that kind of fun, quirky newsletter? Who could do it with such joie de vivre? Bob. That's just one thing that made him such a stand-out. When I was a senior at Oregon, he gave me a...

He was also a trusting individual who set me up with his ex-girlfriend in Montgomery, Alabama, only to have her never speak to him again as far as I know! I still feel badly to have let him down so. I am proudly going to contribute to the Beta Iota Leadership Fund in Bob's name. He will always be...

We'll miss him-Larry & Carol Barrett

Kristina and Darby, Betty and I would like to echo the sentiment expressed by my brother Jerry Waud and his wife Bev. We were extremely fortunate to have a Bob Warr during our time at Beta Iota Sigma Chi. Lots of good memories. Know that he loved you girls including Katelyn. Betty and I will be contributing to the Leadership Fund. In hoc, Tom Waud and All honor to his name.
