Not sure what to say?

Waterman Family I´m so sorry to hear of Bob´s passing; we worked together at McKinsey & Company in San Francisco. I was a college student who worked part time until my graduation. Bob had the best view in the office and he always welcomed me to enjoy it. He was a very kind man that I enjoyed, laughed and learned a lot from him. You have my sincere condolences.

Bob was an inspiration for years before I met him. As an RLS Foundation board member, he wrote - as I later learned he spoke - with eloquence, elegance, and humor, offering hope from his deep well of experience. Eventually, I joined the board myself and remember little from my first meeting but that I greeted my RLS hero in person, and he welcomed me as a valued colleague. His example then, as now, continues to propel us forward. Bob's legacy of hope and activism is indelible.

My sincerest condolences to Judy and family. My best memories of Bob are the early days of the RLS scientific committee when we used to meet at his house. On one occassion, he invited me to stay an extra day so he could introduce me to the board. We went golfing but I don't golf often or well. Bob introduced me to the board that evening by saying he could testify that I was spending my time in the lab and not on the golf course. He was a genuinely wonderful man, supportive and kind. He...

Dear Judy, I can´t imagine your grief in losing Bob. He was a gentleman in all ways, wise beyond the norm, and a talent everyone admired. Please know we are thinking of you during this sad time. Judy

Hi: First of all let me offer my most sincere condolences to you, the family of Bob Waterman. I served as the first physician chair of the medical advisory board of the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation (RLSF) and had a chance to work with Bob on multiple occasions over the years. With his financial expertise and love of humanity, he came along at the right time as a member of the overall board and really helped put the Foundation on a correct financial footing. He will be missed....

I have known Bob for many years and have been very impressed with his intellect and dedication to furthering the understanding and treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). He was instrumental in starting the RLS Clinic at Stanford and arranging my position to run the clinic. We will all miss him and mourn his passing as he was truly a great man who left his mark on the business world and RLS. Mark

Bob, was my one of my mentors at the RLS Foundation. He was an inspiration to me and great friend. I have so many wonderful memories of Bob and have a beautiful water color hanging in our family room which reminds us of all of his many talents and gifts. Bob will be missed deeply. Judy please accept our condolences. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

We met Bob and Judy only a few years ago. We connected immediately and only later learned that we were connected by Skiing and RLS too. The twinkle in Bob´s eyes in this picture will be how we remember him. It never dimmed. Loved Bob, Love you Judy.

I first met Bob Waterman when we were both providing consulting services to AES Corp. He recruited me to join the Board of Directors of the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for a disease that inflicted both of us. He was chair of the board of RLSF for many years. Bob is one of the most truly amazing and wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Bright, inquisitive, friendly, persuasive, thoughtful. All those words come to mind as I...
