Not sure what to say?

It took 50 years but I made it to the Bay of Fundy today as inspired by Mr Wegener when I was in the 5th grade. That is what a great teacher he was - he left you inspired for a lifetime, I can tell more stories about what a terrific man and what an indelible mark he left but if you´re here you know. Most of his students certainly know a glee club song you can sing in his honor.

I came here very late not knowing Mr.Wegener passed but I was a student in his 5th grade class about 1974. He was the best teacher I ever had and at the time I didn't want to leave P,S. 50 to go into the 6th grade because his classes were great. He was a good man and a few years after I left I wrote him a letter thanking him for being someone I looked up to. My best friend and I were in his class together and we still speak about him.

I had Mr.Wegener as a 5th grade teacher and for glee club in 1982. He was a wonderful teacher and I will always remember him fondly. My sympathy goes out to his family.

I was a student in Mr. Wegener's fifth grade class at P.S.50 1976-1977. As you go through life so swiftly you never forget the people who have made such an impact on your life. My children are around the age that I was when I was in the fifth grade and they ask "Who was the teacher that made a difference to you when you were a kid?" I tell them about this kind, caring role model known as "Mr. Wegener". You were the best!

Mr. Wegener was my favorite teacher. I had him for 5th grade in 1971. I will always remember the Glee Club and singing in the halls. He always made me feel special. I still speak of him today.

I am very upset to hear that he has passed away. I remember him from P.S.4 and he was the best assistant principal there. I will always remember him.

I REMEMBER BOBBY AT MY PARENTS HOUSE ..HE AND MY DAD LAUGHING AND TALKING. MY DAD HAD A LOT OF RESPECT FOR BOBBY AND I WILL NEVER FORGET LOOKING UP AND SEEING HIM AND WALTER WATCHING OVER US AT MY DADS FUNERAL.HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL THE PEOPLE WHOSE LIFE HE TOUCHED...
WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY

Mr Wegener was a wonderful man. I send my deepest condolences to Mrs. Wegener and her family. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences go out to Mrs. Wegener and her family. Mr. & Mrs. Wegener were my favorite teachers in PS 50 back in 1971-1973. A few years back my nephew had the great pleasure of knowing Mr. Wegener at PS 4. He was a great teacher one I’ll always remember
