Hello Dorothy and Bob's Family. It was with great sorrow that I learned of Bob's passing. His megawatt smile and hearty hugs welcomed everyone. I loved talking ' livestock / poultry' with him and watching his eyes light up as he expounded on his poultry's exploits. I always pictured Bob as a grownup Dennis the Menace based on the sparkle in his eyes and his grin. Hugs to you all and laughter as you remember his jokes. God's blessings of strength.

Bob,you've been a hero of mine since we attended John Moore elementary school together. Having read your obituary, I can say you're still my hero. Thanks for all you've done for so many. Dorothy, we are so sorry for your loss.

Wow--you had him 48 years!! A lot of BEHS Ravens were there in The Beginning with you. We took some great memories with us when we scattered all over the US, knowledge and values that aren't taught so much today. Sure grateful for those high school years--and then coming back as an employee at Taylor and hob- nobbing with all those folks I had learned to love as teachers. John and I were dismayed at the news of your Bob's passing. As many a couple can only imagine, and some attest, the loss of a spouse is high on the list of life challenges, no matter what the age. May time leave you with cherished memories of Bob and the knowledge that he will be remembered by many as a beloved Alaskan, teacher, uncle, and husband.

Dorothy and Family. I was saddened to hear of Bobs passing. I will always remember his enthusiasm and energy as we developed New Hope Methodist Presbyterian Church into a viable worship community. His ready smile was his trademark. I missed you folks when you departed Alaska and our community. May you receive solace in knowing he is seated at our creators side in his Kingdom. Condolences to Dorothy and the rest of Bob's family. We will never forget the kindness Bob extended to our Mom, Grace Ford, while she was in the Pioneer's Home. When many others forgot her, he always remembered and visited often. Rest in peace, Bob.
