Fond memory of Bob growing up seeing him on TV "Utah Weatherman." R.I.P. enternal blue skies.

I remember, clear as a bell, watching Bob Welti on my black and white TV giving the weather report, slashing lines and arrows all over a wite-board. But the most amazing thing of all was when I finally got color TV and saw him drawing all those lines and arrows IN COLOR. What a happy guy he was. I don't remember him ever giving a weather report with a frown, regardless of how bad the weather was going to be. I remember him as the original weather guy. My most sincere condolences to his...

He was truly a very kind man. I'll always remember hanging out with Susan at hIs home with my baby Rachael. My condolences to the family. Rest well Mr Welti ❤

What a beautiful tribute. Bob Welti didn't report the weather, he was the weather. Always sunny. From my earliest days, I loved the Nourse, Welti, and James team. Even after I got married and moved to a different state, I would watch the news and wish the weatherman could be more warm (forgive the pun) like Bob. Bob came and seen me in prison for over 11 years sometime each week, he did the Lords work and had dinner many times at his home with his wonderful wife. I loved Bob he taught me now to treat others kindly, because I was blinded by hate. HE LIVED THE LORDS WORD in my life.kindest man I ever knew, he visited me when others wouldn't, he always made that one day better each week. He was the walking gospel far as I am Concern.

So truely sorry for the loss of your dad. May he fly with the angles watching over yall every morning and evenings. Rest in piece Bob u will be deeply missed..... Candace K. Cline salt lake City Utah.
