Not sure what to say?

Dear Marijane Wernsman thank you for the message of Bob's passing. I was excited that we had reconnected again and was wanting to come visit. We were roommates from Peru State College. This evening I found three of our fellow roommates from Peru on Facebook and sent them private messages about Bob's passing. I'm so sorry for your lose. It was an honor to have Bob as a friend.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the privledge of having him as a teacher at Texas Tech and at drama camp in Big Spring many years ago. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am sure you have heard it a million times but he made such a lasting impact on his students! Truly a one of a kind man. The world of journalism is a better place due to his instruction. I owe him many thanks in the success of my career. My thoughts are with you.

Words cannot express the sorrow I am feeling at the loss of a dear friend. Someone as special as Robert will never be forgotten.
His love of his family, the strength and courage with which he faced his adversity, and the impact he had on so many lives is a great testimony to the man.
Rest in peace, my dear friend. I'll carry you in my heart forever.
Dionne

I will remember Bob as a person who always brought a smile to me whenever his name was mentioned. It was my honor to call him a friend and he was a very good friend. In the years since college, we saw each other infrequently, but he made sure we stayed in touch. His calls were always long and happy, as entertain-
ing as he was in person. I will miss him. I hope I get to talk to him again some day.
