Not sure what to say?

I worked for him as an LVN for about 8 years. He was a dedicated Dr. for sure. A wonderful boss. Always had a sense of humor and was truly loved by all his patients. He and Marlene were wonderful to my kids and all the kids at St. Mary's school. RIP Dr. Werra.

Saw to my Dad until the very end. You made several house visits, so compassionate positive friendly, shared experiences lodge gardening even days living in wisconsin. We all loved him. My thoughts with family, I'm sorry for your loss.

My husband and I knew Bob and Marlene through a shared love of plants, especially bulbs. We cherish all the hours we spent with them including spending time with them on a couple of trips to South Africa. He was so generous, sharing photos, bulbs, seeds, and introducing children to gardening. He could tell wonderful stories. Spending time with him always led to laughter. Both he and Marlene never missed an opportunity to take a flower photo, even if it meant lying on the ground to get the...

I enjoyed working with Dr. Werra and sharing jokes.

I remember just arriving in Ukiah as a single Mom , and that first wk there my 3 yr old daughter was ill. My Mom took me to her Dr.'s office with my daughter. While he so gently examined her I asked by chance do you know anyone looking for a good LVN? Dr. Werra's response was , why do you know one? I said yes, me. He said you are hired! That was the beginning of a precious 7 yrs as his office nurse. Learned so much from him and Marlene both. He was so good to me and my kids. Patients loved...

Ukiah was lucky to have physician such as Dr. Werra who would always make room for more patients and was dedicated to serving the community. Condolences to the family.

I´m so sorry to hear of Dr. Werra´s passing. I worked with him as a family nurse practitioner in the 1990´s. He was a delight to work with. Wonderful sense of humor, kindness & care for his patients. I remember listening to him play the music in the office from Man from La Mancha (which he loved!). He wanted to be in that play as Don Quixote (one of his hero´s)! I had to tell him to turn the music down!! After 23 yrs as an FNP, so many things he taught me about caring for others, I had...

To the Werras, Marlene, Mike, Kathy, Chrissy, and Richie. The Wilson Family is sending our love and condolences to each of you. Your father was kind and considerate, and always had a smile. It feels as if he was a part of our family and a great friend to our father. The memory of Dr. Werra that I hold dear was the night my father died. Mom was calling the doctor friends to let them know that he had passed. She didn´t want them to find out when they got to work in the morning. It was...
