My condolences to the world. I'm so sorry to see that Bob passed; the world has lost a human treasure. He tutored me in singing with I lived in Memphis in the early 90's, and I accompanied him and about 50 of his students on a trip to Paris where we performed at the Notre Dame Cathedral. Though I moved away, I've often thought of Bob, and how his constant encouragement and coaching helped me transcend my limitations. I miss him.

We knew Bob as an amazing, talented, caring man that we always admired from the time we first met in college. He will be remembered fondly by everyone for his many achievements and his strong relationships with students and others who sought to learn from the best.

What a great talent, and a nice guy who was an inspiration to all. RIP my high school friend. Our class of 1966 was the best. Prayers to all the family.
