Robert B. Westermann

I miss having Rob as my physician. He was a superb and caring doctor. He was also a kind friend when needed. I had full faith that he would provide the best care for me. He was brilliant about medicine and so many other topics. He was one in a million. I send my sympathies again to his family. I hope you can take some comfort in the knowledge of how Rob was special to so many people.

The hole he left in my heart on his passing three years ago is still there; my, how I miss talking with him. It was only four months later that my sweetheart of fifty seven years passed away. Thank God for sweet memories that never die and the knowledge that both of them are in the good hands of the Master Physician. Regards to his good family, Gary Astill

Robert was my doctor for about 29 years. We had many talks. He was the best PCP I ever had. I miss him alot.

I am deeply sorrow for Robs passing, specially being so young. I met him for the first time in 1969, when he was a child and was spending part of the summer with his sister and brother at his father home on Lake Ontario shore. I remember with warm affection the long walks we all took along Bruce Trail and Rattle Snake Point. They were a bunch of charming children and his father, throughout his life, was very proud of them.

I was a friend of his father Gerd and I met him for the first time when he was a child, in 1969. I have warm memories of him and his sister and brother, and the summer days we spent together at his father home on lake Ontario, as well as the long walks we all took along Bruce trail, in Ontario.
It is really sad he passed away being so young.

My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Dr. Westerman had been my doctor for 20 years. We got along very well. He was thorough and caring. He discovered my cancer and probably saved my life. I don't look at obituaries and just found out of his passing.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Westermann's friends and family. Dr. Westermann was my PCP for the last few years before retiring. He was the best doctor I've ever had. Took as much time as needed during my visits, was never demeaning, always looks for solutions through diet and exercise. I'm very sad to hear this news.
