WHITEHEAD, Robert - Of Swartz Creek, age 49, died Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held at 11:30AM Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation 5- 8PM Monday, 11AM-2 and 5-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Whitehead was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on March 8, 1954. He married Cathy Howell on May 17, 1975 in Garden City, Michigan. He was a member of Greater Flint Dart Association and was a volunteer for the Flint Youth Dart Association. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Shiawassee Dog and Gun Club. He loved darts, softball, horsehoes and NASCAR. Surviving are wife, Cathy; sister, Michelle and husband Greg Cooper of Inkster; brother, Lee of Michigan; step-sister, Julie and husband Mitch Dover of Flint; step-brothers, Danny and wife Sherry Ketchum, Brian and wife Brenda, Kris and wife Jennifer, all of Flint; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Merilyn; father, Robert; step- dad, Leo Krzyzaniak and step- mother, Nancy Whitehead.
