Robert Brent Whitehead

Robert Brent Whitehead, 59 of Laurel, Maryland died on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Gilchrist Hospice Care - Howard County in Columbia, Maryland. Born Sunday, March 16, 1952 in Laurel, Maryland, he was the son of the late William Whitehead and the late Gladys Poe Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead graduated from Atholton High School in 1970 and worked in the construction trades specializing in roofing and siding work. Surviving are sons, Robert Whitehead, Jr. and his wife Angela, and Randy Whitehead and his wife Kari. Brothers; William Whitehead and Ronald Whitehead. Grandchildren; Jessica, Westin, Sara, Walker and Cameron. also survived by his former spouse Barbara Whitehead. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Good Hope Presbyterian Church, 12131 Route 216, Fulton, Maryland 20759.
