Not sure what to say?

Bobby Whitman was one of my best boyhood friends. We both lived ..on Innes Road in Wood-Ridge, NJ. Me at 418 Innes Road, first house up from Shalansky's Texaco gas station. We played stick ball and had all kinds of fun. This was the late 1950's, I move away in 1963. Other friends on Innes Road were Jackie Frank, Harvey Shalansky, Jackie Sullivan. So sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. We had a great childhood together. Mike Dunton/4750 Saddlebrook Dr/Fort Worth, Tx, 76116.

I lived 2 doors down, on Innes Road in Woodbridge, NJ. Remembering Bobby playing ball, etc. I left in `63, so know Bobby 1960-63. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I worked with Bob at RU for over 20 years and I always admired his total dedication and commitment to the Registrar's Office and its functions.
He worked extremely hard and his focus never wavered. He did his very best to help every student he could without fail.
My prayers are with you at this time and as you go forward I hope your loving memories will provide you comfort and solace.

With Sympathy,

Paula Van Riper

I have fond memories of Bob. I was impressed with his affinity to our student veterans. Bob got to work early each day. He always managed to stop at my desk to chat as he made his rounds, looking for the coffee. I looked forward to it. His jokes and stories would make me smile all day. Yes, Bob, you will be missed.

I will always remember Bob's laugh and how smart/knowledgeable he was. Rutgers was very important to him and he showed this in his every day actions. I'm glad I knew him. I will also always remember Bob standing by my desk, with a smile on his face, talking about how Proud he is of his boys!
My heart goes out to Sharon and all of their family.
"Bob, you are missed!" Pat Gozzi (co-worker -- Registrar's Office)

Bob will be remembered as someone who always went out of his way for students. He will be missed by us in the Registrar's Office. My thoughts and prayers are will you during this difficult time. Kathryn Hart(Rutgers Registrar's Office)

He was my friend, and I will miss him. My heart goes out to his wife Sharon and his family. He was a good man and will be missed. Judy Delfino(co-worker and friend)

I've worked with Robert for as long as he worked in the Registrar's Office. If Rutgers' color was blue, Bob would have bled blue. I will miss seeing him in his office studying his veterans' files, or talking to veterans in the reception area, or helping visitors in the hall find their way. He was always happiest when he could add something to someone's life.
