Bob was a friend and warm host at the Welcome to Spring party that he and Marina hosted annually while still in Ann Arbor. The greatest one came when the power had gone out and the party areas were illuminated only by candles. Bob took special pride in the punch he concocted, which was tasty, but a few sips were enough to get me tipsy.
