Not sure what to say?

I knew Robert by the nickname Stretch. I had not seen him for many years and was thinking about him yesterday when I learned of his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Please call me when you get a chance (256) 585-3063 and my name is Laura Rudy

Rob, I fail to understand why this happened. You were a great brother to me growing up. Always a kind, loving person. With us being adopted, I consider myself fortunate to be your younger brother. Why is it only the "best" are taken when they're young? Pop was heartbroken that he was not able to be there. I know you're with Mom in heaven now. It looks like Pop will be there soon. If grief can kill a person, then I'm close to coming home too. Tell mother I'm taking good care of pop. ...

Marilyn and family,
My heart goes out to you at this time in your life, know that I am praying for your family and keep in mind that right now "stretch" is in a better place that we are.

Marilyn, sons and family,
I am so sorry about the death of your sweet 'Stretch'. I will be praying for you all. I went to Gateway Baptist with Marilyn, Stretch and family a few years ago. Stretch use to always tell me he loved my voice, and how I put my 'heart' in my songs. He is now hearing music that is so beautiful that the earthly mind can't imagine! I will cherish his memory and we WILL see him again because we have trusted Jesus as our Saviour and Heaven is real. (More real now...

Marilyn, Boys, Mr. Bob & Mike,

There was only one "Stretch" and he cannot be replaced. I have many fond memories of when we were teenagers. He always saw the funny side of things. He always leant an ear or a shoulder to cry on. I am praying for your entire family. You have suffered such loss in such a short time. The only comfort we have is that we know he is not by himself, he is with his mom now (and my daddy too!). Debby lives in Baltimore, MD, now and she, mom, Cathy and I...
