Not sure what to say?

I remember Dr. Wilfong growing up in Lake Wood Pines (Greenville, NC) - he was a respected member of our community there. Later in New York, his fame in the Nazarene community was made known to me as well. Our deepest sympathy. --Don & Sandra Gilbert

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy as you begin to get use to life without your father. You may remember that Staunton, VA, is Richard's hometown and whenever we visit there and pass the Church of the Nazarene, we are reminded of all the people who have been lead to Christ due to the efforts of you parents. Please know that we think of you often and wish you and your family life's best.
With sincere sympathy,
Richard and Beth Wagner, New Bern, NC

To the Wilfong family, What a treasure your parents were to all of us. I was blessed to know both your mother and your dad. They were truly models of God's love and were so very proud of each of you. We always looked forward to their Christmas parties at their home in Hampstead.
Before they moved to FL your mother continued to play the organ in our church even after she had to have help getting up to the organ and back to her seat. Your dad and my dad shared teaching...

We loved and have missed both Bob and Miriam so much since they left the Wilmington First Church of the Nazarene and moved to Florida. And now even more, but we rejoice to know we will reunite with them in God's Kingdom! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. May our God keep and comfort you in the days ahead.
Love, Janet & Jim Willetts

We noted with interest your dad's obituary as I have an uncle, a retired Episcopal clergy, and aunt who live at the Mayflower in Winter Park. Our visits have been often in the past few years, and perhaps we shared an unknowing glimpse of your dad. God's graces are healing, and I wish you peace with his memories.

Your mom and dad were great people who deeply influenced my life. They were both larger than life and very down to earth people at the same time. Your dad's committment to God and the church truly inspired me.
Lee and I live less than a mile from your home in Kennett. I go by your developement often and everytime I do, I think of your familty. The tire swing was the best! Scary, but the best!
The last time I saw your parents was down in their home in Wilmington. Your dad took us for...

To all the Wilfongs: We are so sorry to hear the news of your dad's passing, but know that he and Miriam are reunited and having a celebration. We have so many wonderful memories of times in West Chester, PA including our own wedding reception in their home. We will cherish those memories and we feel very blessed to have known both Bob and Miriam. We pray for your peace and God's strength in this time.

Jon I am sorry for the death of your dad. We never want to loss some one we love in death but we do. So pray to God and ask him to help you and give you hope and comfort from his word the BIble.
