Not sure what to say?

It was my good fortune and pleasure to have served under COL Wills for many years. As a soldier, I always respected him as a fair and competent leader. As a man, his character was above reproach. He was a real straight shooter. This world will be a lesser place without him.

It was my pleasure to serve in the MI. National Guard with Col. Wills and to know his son Rob as a very close personal friend.

CAROLYN,
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I KNOW MY FATHER IN LAW AND HUSBAND KNEW HIM WELL, AND HAD WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND STORIES ABOUT BOB. I HOPE ALL YOUR WONDERFUL MEMORIES WILL GIVE YOU STRENGHT AND COMFORT THROUGH THE DAYS TO COME.

Thanks, Bob, for the mentoring during my earliest years as an officer, and for remaining committed to the Guard during your later years. Today, it fulfills the role we could only dream of.

Col Will was a wonderful teacher and friend. He was definitely one of the "most unforgettable persons" in several persons' lives.

Sir:

It was a pleasure serving with you. I will never forget your life-long dedication to the Regiment.

Courage,

Major Densham

Colonel Bob Wills was a great mentor and leader. It was an honor to serve under him and to follow in his footsteps. No one was more dedicated to the Grand Rapids Guard than he.

Our Prayers and condolences to Carolyn, Lori, Robb, Patti & families.
