BOB WAS THE BEST OF THE BEST

I still often recall what a fine man and mentor Bob Windle was to me and so many others during our military careers. His photo and program from his funeral are still on my bulletin board. Our love to Carrie and Bob’s family for I know how much he is missed.

Dear Carrie,

I still have the card from the funeral with the photo of Bob posted on my bulletin board. I think of Bob often and even recall conversations we had at the 121st and 81st. Its hard to believe that almost a year has passed.

I think of you often too. May God bless you.

I'm sad to here of Mr. Windles passing, he will always be Mr. Windle to me. Like a second family I spent many days, nights and holidays with Bert and Bill with Mr Windle keeping us all in line. Very few days pass that I don't recall those times. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Mark

A finer neighbor could not be found anywhere. I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Windle's passing. He left a great legacy.
