I had Mr. Wingert for American History at CVHS. He taught me to look for the "why" and the "cause and effects connections" in history. Later I met him at PDE one day and had a chance to tell him what his teaching meant to me. My sympathy to his family who had many years of his love, teaching and devotion.

What a lovely soft spoken and gentle spirit. A life lived well and full of love, and a legacy of 3 strong women and grandchildren he leaves behind who love him dearly. All my love, thoughts and prayers
