Read MoreMr. Wirtz was a teacher and coach for me in the 1960s at Barbour Hall. He helped me get started on a a path to Parchment High School => Kalamazoo College => Yale University => The Dow Chemical Co => California Lutheran University. Your Dad was an interesting guy who was a good influence on me as a boy/ (very) young man. Unfortunately, I waited a bit too long and did not get to see him as an adult.

Bob was both a friend and neighbor. He would accompany us in our annual Guys Golf Outing and help keep us in line and our cottage neat. He was a fixture with his beloved dog sitting by his garage. A wonderful gentleman.
