Not sure what to say?

Only recently did I learn of Bob's passing. What a wonderful man. I'm 30 yrs his junior and we were paired together for the first two rounds of the 1991 Alabama State Am and it was apparent I was playing with someone very special. His golf game and etiquette were top notch. In 2005 I joined his golf club and we played many rounds together. Getting to know him as a person and seeing his faith in God and the importance family played in his life was an inspiration to me. My three sons loved...

I met Bob years ago at Shoal Creek and had the privilege of playing golf and having lunch with him a number of times especially since I retired 5 years ago. Bob was the consummate gentleman and I always enjoyed being with him. He and I had mutual acquaintances with Consolidated (where was a consultant after he retired) and shared stories. Bob was a great guy and I will miss him. He made a positive impact and left the world a better place because of him.

I am so sorry to just hear the news of Mr Wise passing. I lived across the street as a kid and remember Mr and Mrs Wise always being so kind to us kids. What a great family. What a great example he lived. Thank you Mike Tillman for sharing this sad news.

Dear Sonie, Karen & Kathy and family--- So sorry for your loss. "Uncle" Bob was such a good person and touched our hearts more than we'll ever know. He clearly influenced me in my teen and preteen years in Greensburg in the 60s with his upbeat, friendly and eternally helpful ways brightening each visit. I'll always remember his Mustang and how proud he was of that cutting edge car. Wishing you comfort today as you celebrate his legacy and his wonderful life! He was a true gift to...

Bob and I went thru all our growing up years together. There were a lot of cousins in our family. In those days cousins were pretty close to each other as were Bob and I. I have many memories of our lives together. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace. Cousin Bill bateman .

Tranquil Moments Peace Lily

I was a new member at Shoal Creek when I first met Bob. I was immediately taken by his self-deprecating humor and ever present smile. Over the years I had the pleasure of playing many rounds with him and always left the course feeling edified by the experience. He was an exceptional person who will be sorely missed by those who counted him as a friend.

Dear Sonya and Family, I fondly remember Bob as the nicest, happiest friend of my dad´s, Richard Miller. Bob and Sonya shared their home with us many times, including hosting a wedding shower for me. I will always keep a special place in my heart for both of you. My love to all. Very fondly, Laura Miller

So sorry for your loss! Love and hugs to you all! I can´t think of my childhood without you all being a part of those thoughts, from Thanksgiving to parties to Green Valley CC (pepto-dismal pink golfing outfit) to "baby" sitters!
