Not sure what to say?

Marianne, I just discovered Woody's passing in a google search. Woody was a classmate of mine at Case Law. We had similar facial appearances and I was often mistaken for him. In fact, once a lawyer handed me a settlement check intended for Woody! I smiled and asked the lawyer if he really knew me (Woody). He said yes. I then told him he had given Woody's check to a stranger. Irene Tennenbaum at Case always confused us. I told her Woody was "the smart one"! I am truly sorry to hear of his...

To the family of the Honorable Magistrate Woodside, I met Magistrate Woodside through a traffic ticket my daughter received in Boston Heights. It was a learning experience for my daughter and Magistrate Woodside I found to be very Honorable. We came to be friends over time and whenever the events of life took me to the Court I would always try to say hello.
I just want you to know that “Woody” was a wonderful man and though it may sound funny, I wouldn’t mind getting a “Ticket” one more...

MARIANNE,
WE WERE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT WOODY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM WAVING TO JAN AND I OUT OF THE WINDOW IN HIS RED SPEEDOS, NOT REALIZING WE COULD SEE HIM THROUGH THE TINTED WINDOWS. HE WOULD ALWAYS SAY MY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WERE GOOD, BUT YOUR CHOCOLATE CHIPS WERE GREAT.WHEN HE WOULD COME TO DINNER HE WOULD TELL US ABOUT HAVING LUNCH WITH YOU AND WE WOULD TEASE HIM, WE KNEW THAT HE WAS CRAZY ABOUT YOU. I WILL MISS HIS LAUGH WHEN HE AND PATRICK , MIKE AND JAN WOULD DRINK...

Dear Marianne and family: My good thoughts, prayers and peace to you all in our loss.

My prayers and thoughts are with Woody's family during this sad time. I remember great times at Bay High in Woody's company. He will be missed.

My sympathy to the family and friends of Bob. I didn't know him as an adult - but he was a great friend as a young man and I'm sure he was a fine gentleman and will be missed.....Wendy Myers (Asheville, NC)

I only knew Mr. Woodside through the court...always treated everyone with courtesy and respect. He was truly a gentleman. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family.... rest in peace

Marianne & Family

My sincerest condolences to you in the passing of Woody. I was a classmate of his at Bay High and will always remember him as a caring and fun loving person. My thoughts and prayers will be with you always.

It was truly a honor and a pleasure to work in Magistrates Woodsides court. He guided me in my early years working in his courtroom as an interpreter. I will miss him.
