Chubs, I miss you. You always drove around my block when you were on duty to make sure I was alright. All I could say when I found out is who's gonna watch out for me now! We were getting re-aquanted after a couple of years we were astray. We were good, you just hired me at your bar and I was just with you that Tuesday prior. Needless to say, Bob's untimely death is a shock to me and my family. I just found out about it today (Tuesday), and I cannot come to his wake this afternoon or his funeral tomorrow. Please forgive me; it would be too painful to say good-bye to my best friend from childhood. Your entire family, however, is in my thoughts and prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
