WRENN, Robert "Bob" Brenaman, 80, of Goochland, Va., passed away at home on June 12, 2008 after a long and brave battle with cancer. He was born in Richmond, Virginia to Lewis Orian Wrenn and Anna Lee Brenaman Wrenn, graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in January, 1945 and attended VMI as a cadet. Being drafted in December, 1945, he served with the U.S. Army in Germany after the war, and, among other duties, was a disc jockey for Radio Free Europe. He then attended Hampden-Sydney College for two years before receiving his BS in Business from the University of Richmond. He retired as President of Richmond Office Supply Company after 42 years. He was an active Rotarian, both with West Richmond Rotary and first with the Downtown Club, where he served two terms as a director and two years as President of Rotary Youth Activities and was instrumental in the building of what is now the William Byrd Community Center. He was a long-standing member of Salisbury Presbyterian Church and The Country Club of Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucile "Bobbie" Pollard Wrenn; his children, daughter, Elizabeth Lee Wrenn of Cocoa, Florida; son, Robert B. Wrenn Jr. and his wife, Kathy Wrenn; daughter, Susan B. Wrenn Lindeman and her husband, Bruce Lindeman; grandchildren, Tucker Wrenn, Jordan Wrenn, Jack Lindeman and Chase Lindeman; brother, Dr. Hugh O. Wrenn and his wife, Nancy Wrenn; and many beloved nephews, nieces and cousins. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
