Robert Wright

WRIGHT, ROBERT L. 64, of Simmonsville Avenue, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Margaret H. (Anderson) Wright and companion of Frances Portella. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Earl V. and Irene E. (Desorcy) Wright. Robert was a polisher for various jewelry companies for many years before retiring. In addition to his wife, and companion, he leaves a daughter, Lenore M. Wright; two sons, Robert L. Wright, Jr. and Thomas A. Wright; a step-daughter, Lynn Gardner; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, at 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5 8 pm. After cremation, burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
