Robert P. Wright

Robert P. Wright, 82, of Marblehead, MA, peacefully passed away in his home on February 10th 2015. He was the loving husband of Ann Dickinson Wright, and devoted father of Wendy Bridgeo and her husband Richard, Wayland MA; Scott Wright, Fairplay, CO; Elizabeth Lane, Marblehead MA; and additionally, his stepchildren Brett Longworth and his wife Jessie Gunnard, Falmouth, MA; and Nancy Freyre and her husband Eneas, Norwalk, CT. Bob was born on April 9th 1932 in East Bridgewater, MA. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School and later enlisted in the U.S. 8th Army where he served during the Korean War. Bob moved to Marblehead in 1965, where he lived for the past 50 years. He was employed by the Town of Marblehead for many years, as well as the National Grand Bank, and Marblehead Bank. Bob was also a member of the Philanthropic Lodge F.& A.M. where he served as Master from 1977-1978. In addition to his wife and children, Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Lyndsey Wright, Abby and Tucker Bridgeo, Andrew and Katie Lane, Caden and Rhys Freyre, August Longworth, and his ever faithful Yellow Labrador Retriever, Remy. Visiting hours will be held this Saturday, February 14th 2015 from 10-12pm, at the Eustis & Cornell Funeral Home at 142 Elm Street, Marblehead, MA, to be followed by a Masonic service.
