Not sure what to say?

I'm glad this page is still active as I never got a chance to write a message when he passed. This 49er Camp group photo is from 1993 my first year working at 49er camp. There aren't words enough to thank Bob for his vision & dedication to all of those young "campers" over the years or us young (then) instructors getting our first experience teaching sports & fitness. I'm glad to say this summer Christopher Flores & I will be heading up the 60th year of 49er Camp. Thank You Bob! We love &...

Our families had a lot of fun times and fond memories together. Bob was a very special guy. He made the world a better place. I hope Bob and my dad are throwing some baseballs back and forth in heaven. Belated condolences.

So sorry to hear of Bob's death. Lots of good old memories. Condolences to all.

Bob was one of the outstanding athletes at San Jose State in the late 40's. He is in the school's Hall of Fame. Although he
has earned respect and recognition in Southern California, we
will remember him as one of our greatest!

Gonna miss "Big Bob". He was teacher, boss, mentor and friend. Love & Blessings to his family.

24 remains solidly in my memory bank. Met Bob in 1975 in the LBSU athletic hallways. Always a gentleman, always with a sense of humor, always with a sense of disbelief, always a coach. He positively influenced many of us staffers. He guided youth and shared a valuable perspective with many, many parents. Condolences to all family and friends.

Here's to one very special person in my life that I have know for over 55 years and that had a great influence on my life and my career. RIP Bob, I will forever be thankful for your friendship.
