Not sure what to say?

We first met Fr. Bob at the Brookfield Trail System in Madison Cty in 1979. We enjoyed riding the trails w/ him, Sister Ellen, Sister Sarah, Bea Dunham, Judy Anderson, the group of friends who came out from our area, & many other Morgan & non-Morgan horse people. The riding was fun, the visiting afterward was great, & the yrs. of staying in touch a testament to the nature of a special man. Hope heaven offers the best trail riding ever. Father Bob...Thank you for all your support and caring for me and my family. You baptized my son and would have baptized my daughter if it wasn't for your knee replacement. You said the most gracious words for my dad Gene at his memorial service. You were a great man and you are dearly missed by your Baker Victory Family. May God bless your soul.

MSGR, You will be truly missed. OLV will not be the same without you. God Bless and rest in peace.

Msgr. you will truly be missed. I feel so blessed to have worked at OLV under your guidance. Thank you for your support, for believing in me and in my decisions. You will always be in my heart.

MSGR, You were an incredible man and unmistakable leader. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Your fierce voice and incredible handshake will never be forgotten. I know you will continue to work towards Father Baker's canonazation. Thank you once again for everything Monsignor. We will never forget you.

you were a true freind and it was a honor to work for you and be able to call you freind. Sad loss to the world. Your true believe in people and sharing compastion will be missed. Rest in peace

Msgr. Wurtz was an East Aurora boy, whose parents and mine were friends. Following his ordination, his First Mass was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, East Aurora. Many there remember him as a young man making daily visits to the church while he attended Canisius College. What a Christmas he is having now.
May he rest in peace.

To quote Monsignor Wurtz, "God bless out little Morgan horses." He touched many lives as a wonderful horseman and is remembered fondly.

You will be greatly missed, Msgr. Wurtz. My first job ever was at the seminary and "Father Bob" was a wonderful friend to a protestant kitchen worker!
