Bob and I shared an apartment at West Virginia University while attending graduate school. I do remember one weekend when Bob drove to Erie, PA to visit his parents and came back with 36 cans of tuna fish which he liked. My deepest sympathies

Mr Yaklich was very warm, inviting, intelligent and engaging in conversation. I remember sitting down with him and his son Bob Jr at their lake house with my kids, being drawn-in and enjoying talking about plant biology. My kids and I learned a lot and had a great memorable meal with him just last year. Great man, he will be missed. Rest in peace
