TO THE YANCEY FAMILY:
I WOULD HAVE TO RANSACK THE ENGLIGH LANGUAGE AS I AM LITERALLY LOST FOR WORDS IN MY ATTEMPTING TO EXPRESS MY GRIEF OVER THE SUDDEN LOSS OF MY DEAREST FRIEND GOING BACK TO 1968 IN BOSTON.
ALTHOUGH I TOOK UP RESIDENCE IN FLORIDA IN OCTOBER 2005 NOT A DAY WENT BY WHEN WE DIDN'T TALK TOGETHER ON THE PHONE.
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS BUT EVEN MORE SO ABOUT MY OWN LOSS OF A VERY DEAR AND LOYAL FRIEND.

I worked with Robert for over 30 years at American. He always was upbeat and had a big smile. Really going to miss that man. A real class act and a gentleman. They don't make them like him anymore.
