Not sure what to say?

Our family was sorry to hear of your loss. We have fond memories of living next door to the 9 of you. There was a friend for every child in our family and some left over to keep an eye on us as we played.

Best Regards
Jeanne Ockuly

To The Yonkers Family,
I was so sad to hear about Roberts Passing. I knew him from all the years he came to the Bradstreet Landing Fishing Pier. He would always ask me how my family was doing. He would ask about my wife, my kids and when my parents were alive he knew they were ill and would always ask me how they were doing. I will miss him coming to the pier. I remember when he would drive down and bring his wife and just park and watch the lake. He loved to fish for those white bass...

Dear Mark and Gay,
I was sorry to hear about the passing of your father.
My prayers are with you during this sad and difficult time.

To the Yonkers family:

My heart goes out to you in the loss of your wonderful family member. My name is Mary Brennan Diffenbacher, and Bob was my godfather. My Dad, Bob Brennan, worked at the Press with Bob.

One of my fondest memories of Bob was when he attended my older sister's wedding - I was the flower girl, and was quite shy. Bob danced with me, and after a long night for a little girl, I fell asleep in his lap. He was a great person.

Uncle Bob,

My most distinct memories of you are:

The touch of class, calmness and humor you brought to all the family weddings, first communion parties, baptisms,graduations,...

When I would work extra "shifts" at the Cleveland Press pressroom, everybody there treated me as an "equal", no better/no worse...I knew at that point that you must of conducted yourself as such, and that I would do my best not to do anything but my best while I worked there...

When I...

To Karen, my dearest friend
and to your family..

My heart is heavy with the sorrow that you Karen, and your family, must be going through right now. I have heard you recall heart warming and delightful stories about your dad over our 20 year friendship. Every story was filled with love, praise and respect for him as your father.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
xoxo Sue

We were all so fortunate to have the gift of your light for so long. It is true we will greatly miss your warmth, humor and beautiful smiling blue eyes but your love and your legacy will live on in each of us that makes the choice to carry the torch for a very long time. Keep us safe...keep smiling on your family.
Love you & miss you already
Jason, Erin, Alexa & Jared

Dear Karen,

I did not have the privilege of knowing your father, but I have treasured the gifts of your friendship and the shared joys of watching your children, Max and Alex, grow into exceptional adults. Through the goodness in you and your family, I know your father was a truly great man. His love and memories will be with you always.

Love,
Susan

Dear Yonkers Family,
Please accept my thoughts and prayers at this time and know that I am sorry for your loss.

Your Dad was a really great guy and I have nice memories of the block parties and growing up on Donna Drive - I remember him as enthusiastic about life and always smiling.

May your memories comfort you and the love that he left you with sustain you.

Kind Regards,
John Hopkins
