ROBERT ZARATE

Robert was my best friend from first grade through junior high school in El Paso. He was the first person I met in Mrs. Dudley's class and we remained best friends until my family moved from El Paso, eight years later. Even though we had not spoken for many years, I was so sad to hear he was no longer with us. Rest in peace, my friend.

Many fun times with laughter and many sad times, as well. You graced the skies in many ways, Robert. Now you are on the wings of peace. May God Bless your family.

My Prayers go out to Robert's family. He will be truly missed and proud to call him friend. I pray for God's peace and comfort during this difficult time. The class of 82 may have lost a classmate but we will never forget.

I'm devastated and shocked to hear Robert is no longer with us. He has been on my mind for several months lately and have been wondering how he was doing. We shared a very special friendship during our Jr. High and High School years and I have always treasured his friendship. I'm happy to hear he was able to travel the world as this was one of his greatest goals in life. Robert had a heart full of Love and Life!
