Not sure what to say?

I was Bob's (I called him Mr. Zender back then) private secretary at NWB in the 60's. Bob was a wonderful, wonderful boss and man. Sorry to see Bob Jr. is not living. I remember cutting many articles out of the paper about his sons basketball career at Edina High. I have thought of him often over the years and was sorry to read of his passing but sounds like he had a full and happy life which he so deserved.

I was Mr. Zender's private secretary at NWB in the 1960's until he was transferred. He was a wonderful, wonderful boss and man. I am sorry to see that Bob Jr. is not living. I remember cutting out numerous articles about his basketball career at Edina High School. In fact I may have one or two somewhere myself. I have thought of him often over the past 50 years and that indicates what a great man he was.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Zender. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

To the dear Zender family,
We all grieve for the passing of Bob Sr., but are so honored and blessed to have known him. He was a special man...a beloved father and grandfather. We know he had a pretty special welcoming committee...up there!
Love and prayers to you,
Arlyn, Debbie, Katie, Andrew, Anna

Thinking of you and all your family at this time of loss. It sounded like he lived a good and productive life. I'm sure he's upstairs playing a game of cribbage as we speak. Greg & I sent our love and prayers. Talk to you soon.
