Today Jean would be celebrating her 72nd birthday. The attached photo is a month after her 22nd birthday. Although Jean is no longer with us, her spirit lives on.

I have many happy memories of Jean and rooming with her at the Kappa House. She was a breath of fresh air and full of energy. Her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile, and deep laughter lit up any room. I'm heart sick to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences go to her family and many other friends. Wishing everyone comfort in fond memories.

I´m so sorry to read of Jean´s passing, and hope she left this life in peace. Memories from the time we shared for the 1970 Rose Festival have been a special part of our lives, and cherished even move as the years pass.

Jean was great and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss seeing her. My condolences to Gary. You guys were a great couple.

I always had a hard time calling Jean by Jean and not Junior. She was junior for the many years that I knew her living in the Englewood neighborhood. Her family was the best and they built a swimming pool that was open to the neighbors every so often. Oh, what a great place to be in the summer. I send my love to Mary and Bette and Annie Bauer and will keep in touch with them.

I had the good fortune to live with Jean in the Kappa House at the U of O. Her bright and wonderful personality was a gift to all and I remember her working late into the night on architecture models. I am so sorry to hear about her passing and send her family my deepest sympathy. Maggie Ely Pringle Grauer
