I just saw this posting on the nnhs website about your mom. I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember her quite well from our days in band. She was very kind to me on several occasions and I know she will be missed by all that knew her.

Sorry I was unable to be at services for your mother. I spent time reflecting on really good memories of the past and the times spent at family reunions in Appomattox. Sunday trips to visit Aunt Rachel always included spending time with her. I remember as soft spoken, kind and very much a lady. You were blessed to have her for a Mom.
