Someday you will read in the papers that Roberta Ingraham is dead. Don't you believe a word of it. At that moment she shall be more alive than she ever was! Roberta Ingraham was born of the flesh on June 27, 1935 in Mount Vernon, IL. She was born of the Spirit in the early 60's during a Billy...

Not sure what to say?

Dear Dean and family,
Art and I were both saddened to hear of Roberta's passing, but knew that she stepped through in to eternity and we will see her again. O Glorious Day! Shortly after, my dear Art was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We both wanted to meet for lunch with Dean and our mutual friends Jim and Barbara Manning, but that lunch never happened. My dear Art also stepped through in to The Lord's presence on February 7, 2011 and is gloriously healed. There are many friends...

Jammie Friend: a person with whom you are at home, regardless of where you are. Roberta didn't just make a home; she *was* home.

I had heard stories about the Ingrahams, my husband's second family from childhood. Significant friends.

Then they visited our home; mornings found Roberta and I sitting cross-legged on a bed, in our jammies, pillows in our laps, gabbing as if we had been best friends...forever!

~ wide-eyed Roberta
~ wide-smiling...

People are not always comfortable letting loose and worshiping the Lord whole-heartedly during worship music at church. Roberta never held back. She danced and sang out to the Lord with a smile on her face everyweek. She inspired me from my view on stage while playing guitar Sunday mornings. Cornerstone worship team will miss her presence every week, but I know she's up in Heaven still, dancing and singing happier than ever!

I had the privilege of meeting Roberta through Cornerstone Church in Yuba City. In the 6 years I lived in the Yuba/Marysville area Roberta was constantly making sure I was up to date with her grandson in the Marines. She always made an effort to thank me for my service to my country. Her encouragement spoke volumes to me, especially as she related everything back to her Savior, Jesus Christ. I wish I could be back in Yuba City to say my final goodbye on this earth, but God has me in...

My dear cousin Roberta was simply put...Amazing!Her sweet spirit and laughter could lift the hearts of even the broken. Her happiness and joy in the Lord were admirable and inspiring. She was a firm in her faith and will always be remembered!

Dear Dean and Family,
Roberta has always been one of my favorite people. She always had a smile and gave a big hug even though she was such a little minute. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember all the great times working together for our community.
All my love and God bless you,

I got to know Roberta during Titus 2. She was there with a smile on her face, but the biggest smile was for her sweet savior! This woman worshiped freely and sincerely! I loved seeing her about town, she gave big hugs and a big laugh! She is missed greatly, but I can't help but smile myself when I think of her dancing with the Father.

John 14:6

Roberta was a light in every room she entered. She was tough and unrelenting in her determination to do the right things. She managed to walk that ever-so-difficult line between someone who is unbending in their beliefs yet gracious and kind to everyone. She has been a role model for me.

Roberta was my dear cousin, but we thought of ourselves as sisters. She was a part of my life from the day I was born (73 yrs ago) and she will continue to be a part of my life until we meet again.
