Not sure what to say?

Roberta was a good person! She was so happy and kind. She was the first person to show me the ocean. She took me on all kinds of excursions when we visited Oregon. She was my 2nd cousins wife and I always thought of her as more of an aunt. I spent a summer with them one year and I still have the necklace she got me. She was very outgoing and enjoyed showing me the wonders of Oregon. I will never forget the camping at Depoe Bay and rescuing a seahorse caught in a tide pool. Jelly fish, star...

I only just became aware of Bertie's departure. She and Teresa were two of my DAR faves. They sang harmony on The Star Spangled Banner, so I always tried to stand near them, their singing was so heavenly.

Our prayers are with you and your family

The sudden passing of Bertie Mills was a shock. She was so young and well loved and appreciated by her DAR sisters in the Portland chapter and other chapters. We will miss her! My condolences to Teddy Mills and family.

Our condolences to the Mills family. Ted and Roberta are our neighbors that live across the street from us. We have enjoyed going to their Lake House on many occasions. Roberta will be greatly missed. The Mills have even joined us on a wonderful Jamaica trip that we took years ago. We all had so much fun. Much love ❤ to all of the family.

Berti was the vice president of the DAR Cameo society while I was President. She always had a smile and we all enjoyed knowing and working with her. She will be greatly missed.
