Not sure what to say?

I remember Roberta with great fondness, growing up with her in grammer school and high school in Esparto. She seemed to exude happiness and vitality--always had great energy. Although it's been over 40 years since those school days, I have thought of her often when catching up with Sharon and Chris on the Steele family, and knew from them of her artistic gift and optimistic outlook on life. I knew Roberta at the Vermont Studio Center. She was a wonderful artist and a lovely person. My heart goes out to her friends and family at this sad time.

Roberta opened our eyes to what a wonderful world art was. I remember when I was visiting the Steele Family, Roberta would come home from school, bring with her the wonderful projects she was working on or had completed. She showed us that anyone could realize their dream. She was a very talented artist with a giving soul. We will all miss her..
We send our love and prayers to all of the family.

It has been many years ago that I knew Roberta. She was already a gifted artist at that time.. and just getting ready to make her way in the world. She was a delightful young lady!
Our condolences to Roberta's family and her many friends.
