Not sure what to say?

Dear Joni,
I'm so sorry to hear about your dear Turo. He was a kind and gentle man, full of laughter and friendship. He had such a sweet spirit. I'm so blessed to have had Turo as my friend and co-worker. My prayers are with you and your family, May God Bless your soul, Rest in Peace my friend,
Love, Kim Lukas, CBS

Dear Joni: We at Children's Bone and Spine Surgery just learned of your loss. We are so sorry. Turo was a man we all loved. We were blessed to have had him run our IT and XR departments until his retirement. He brought laughter to our lives and joy to our hearts. The kids loved him and his toys. They sat still for him, knowing they would be rewarded in some way. He will never be forgotten.

To Joni and the Young Family,
Words cannot express enough how saddened I was to hear of the passing of my forner NCOIC, my mentor and big brother, SFC Young. We were stationed at MACH, Ft. Eustis in the early 90's and it was a joy to work with him. The thing I remember about SFC Young most, was his zest for life and that infectious laugh. Rest in peace my friend...you will be truly missed. Joni, may God give you strength, and perfect peace during the difficult times. God bless you and...

Turoceous T: Brother-in-Arms, a welcoming presence, a friendly force with a righteous soul. He lived true, laughed loud and listened to others. I am proud to say he was my friend. HooaH!

Turo was a top-notch man whose spirit still lives with us. I was also a paratrooper with him and Turo was always ready! Sympathies to his family, especially his dear mother and his sweet wife Joni. My thoughts and prayers are with you for swift healing.

I first met Turo when he was attached to HHC 2/504 Inf from HHT 1/17 CAV 82d ABN DIV in January 1977. We were both Airborne Combat Medics on our way to Jungle School in Panama.
We became friends and he convinced me to ask for re assignment to HHT 1/17 CAV in order to join the Medical Platoon there.

Once there we served together for another 2.5 years together until I was re assigned to Schofield Barracks Hawaii.

It was a pleasure serving with you Roberto.
GOD BLESS...

Our sincere condolence and sympathy to entire Young Family. Turo, my wife Celia and I, were all great friends in high school. We will remember his humor, his wonderful smile, wit and honesty. He was always there for you if you needed him. May God hold you, comfort and console you. Tommy and Celia.

You were like a father figure to me when I didn't have one. I thank god for your mentoring through my teenage and early military years. My family and my prayers go out to yours. The Lord has truly called one of his angels home.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
