Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. - Merrimack Obituary

Robin L. (Mireault) Gatzimos passed away following a lengthy illness at her home, on September 13, 2021, at the age of 67. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Born in San Bernardino, CA on February 12, 1954. Daughter to the late Theodore Mireault and Arlene (White) Mireault.

Robin spent her childhood exploring the world in a Military family. She lived in Lowell, MA for most of her adult years, then later moving to Merrimack, NH where she has resided for the past 15 years.

For Robin, family, and most importantly her children came first, a value she instilled in all those around her. She will be most remembered for her immense amounts of compassion and warmth. She was a wonderful listener and had the natural ability to comfort those she encountered. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Robin is survived and will be deeply missed by her best friend, Jane Carrabis, her three children, George Gatzimos and his wife Alyssa, Nicholas Gatzimos and his wife Amanda, Ellen Dionne and her husband Donn. She also leaves behind five Grandchildren, Alexandra, Victoria, Aidan, Avery, and Emerson, two step- grandchildren Alexandra, and Amber, a brother Robert Mireault and a sister-in-law Collen Mellor-Mireault, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her four brothers: Ray, Rick, Ron, and Teddy Mireault, and her sister Roxanne Cunningham.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 5 - 8 PM on Friday September 24th at the Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.  A Private celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 25th.

Not sure what to say?

Words can not express my feelings
My fiancé has Alpha-1. Something in all my years I never heard of until 2013 when she was diagnosed. It’s heartbreaking when we lose a mother , a friend . Robin was a wonderful woman , deeply loved and will be missed. The loss of ones mother is especially difficult.
God bless you all

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. You will be in our thoughts during this very difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. I met Robin back in the 80s when we both were unemployed and the unemployment office sent us to Greater Lowell Tech to take a course to make us more employable!! We had a great group of people in that class and your Mom was one of the best. Had a lot of laughs with her for sure! It has been a long time since I saw her but she will not be forgotten.

Beautiful obituary. So sorry for your loss. She will be missed.

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.
