Dr. Robin Vincent Gipps

Think of him daily. We spend most of our time watching our kids sail or traveling somewhere to sail and always think dad wouldve loved this and then he wouldve analyzed their last tack or gybe and given some guidance;) ❤

I feel like he is still around from time to time...otherwise I feel like he is somewhere sailing into a sunset...no pain, no regrets, just peace...at rest. We love you and will always miss you dad. G.

It has been almost a year since Dad's been gone. I think about him everyday wondering what he is up to? I love you Dad and you will always be within my thoughts. I will never forget you!!

Marina, I just read your Dad's obituary. He was quite a man. You are, I am sure, very proud of him, and will hold his memory in your heart for the rest of your days. All the best to you and your family.

Dr. Gipps was one of those people that you are only lucky to meet once in your life. It is difficult to put his accomplishment in context. He was a wonderful husband, father to eight, and accomplished doctor. In his private time he became a sailor, sculptor, designer and read literature. You could talk to him about Stanley Kubrick or the internal workings of a diesel engine. All the way he treated you like one of his own and you knew he would do anything he could to help you. His legacy is...

I miss you ..I keep thinking about you, Erik keeps saying he sees you almost everyday. I guess it brings him comfort knowing you are keeping an eye on things. I love you very much.
