Sarepta, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Robin Henderson Hanson, age 51, will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Jeffery L. Derrick officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery , Converse, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Robin was born on January 25, 1966 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 in Springhill. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Haynesville and was a school teacher for Taylor Junior High School, Taylor AR, She enjoyed crafts, going to rummage and garage sales, and had a true love for her job as a teacher. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Hanson; daughter, Brookie LeAnn Jones of Bossier City; son, Kolton Andrew Hanson of Sarepta; granddaughter, Chancie Dove Jones; mother, Roxanne "Ann" Odom and husband, Jimmy of Homer; brother, Jack Arden Henderson, Jr. and wife, Deane` of Fort Worth, TX; nephews Taylor and Riley Henderson and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Arden Henderson, Sr.; and brother, Joel Wade Henderson.

Pallbearers will be Allen Byram, Cole Leflett, Steve Reeves, Taylor Henderson, Gabe Lyons and Ricky Payne.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to a scholarship fund to be given in her honor at Taylor High School.
