Not sure what to say?

I knew Robin from our time at Michigan going to school. A lot of fond memories. Ironically we both went to the same high school, however I was a underclass man. I have a picture of her from those days I would like to give. Probably to Marty but don´t have any address to mail to. I can be reached on Facebook pm.

Robin was a special person. She could find humor in the quirky ways of men and at the same time explain what was really going on in an easy way. She was someone who wore her colors and made art a big part of her life as well as family and the others she touched. She was a good woman.

When I was a pharmacy tech at Butterworth hospital Robin invited my 1 yo son and I to play with her 1 yo boys several times. Her encouragement helped me get through a difficult time and I made it through pharmacy school- she really made an impression on me about caring about others and what a difference she made in so many lives. In 2021 I talked with Dylan at Cherryhealth and he was easy to talk to and always willing to help ( patient or coworker) just like his mom.

When I think of Robin, I think about her kindness, her knowledge base and her work ethic. She would never unload any of her work on the next shift, She would always stay over to make sure 2nd shift was caught up before she left the pharmacy . I think about her love for the arts, her crafting and her gift to treat all she came in contact with as equals. . I replaced Robin as the third shift pharmacist at previously named Butterworth Hospital here in Grand Rapids. Robin was always on top...

I will always remember Robin for her warmth, kindness and sense of humor. She was a wonderful person to work with due to her generous spirit and ability to make people feel welcome. I was saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to all of her friends and family.

Robin Roberts will always stand out to me as one of the kindest and sunniest personalities in the pharmacy. In a job full of difficulties and problems to solve, she would be a calm presence. As a new pharmacist I appreciated her welcoming me and giving me an example of feminine genius at work, making our professional relationships more authentic. Thank you for letting me share my memory with you!!

Sending prayers and condolences to Robin´s family. I worked with Robin and Marty at Spectrum.

"No, Ron, I will not be chairman of the Genesis UMC food committee!" "Please Robin, you do such a good job." "Okay, Ron, I help out being a substitute and and 'part-time' regular." And she was. Being the hiker she was, I suppose she "planned it that way". Blessings and Love, ron ward
